Lila Guertin DeCubellis BHS, RDCS, RCS, RVT, RCIS President and Senior Consultant Lila has been accrediting labs for 10 years been in the field of cardiovascular ultrasound for over 25 years. For nine years she was a tenured professor in Echocardiography at Santa Fe Community College, Gainesville, Florida. The remaining 16 years has been spent in the managerial and technical aspects of the field. She has authored and coauthored journal articles and registry review books; she has presided over the Gator Ultrasound Society of North Central Florida. In addition to being the recipient of the Arthur B Hagan Award for Outstanding Contribution to Cardiovascular Technology, she has been a guest lecturer on a variety of subjects: echo and vascular accreditation, distance learning for the sonographers and various registry review courses. For eight years Lila was co-chair for the Cardiovascular Credentialing International’s (CCI) echo registry exam. Since 2005 she has been an exam writer for the CCI vascular registry exam. Lila has been accrediting echo and vascular labs since 1997. Currently she manages a mobile cardiovascular ultrasound business. Her free time is spent enjoying her family and photographing wildlife. |

Kelly A. Stewart, BS, RDMS, RVT Vascular Accreditation Consultant Kelly has been involved with the accreditation process for several years and in the field of cardiovascular ultrasound for 14 years. She was the former co-owner of Cardiac and Vascular Institute of Ultrasound, located in Mobile, Alabama where she taught all aspects of cardiac and vascular ultrasound. She has also been in many scenarios in the clinical side as well from performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound to assuming the chief technologist position at two large hospitals. Currently, she is owner of Ultracare Imaging, LLC which is a mobile service providing complete in- office ultrasounds and she serves as ultrasound coordinator of Pensacola Vascular Surgery. Kelly enjoys spending her free time riding her horses and motorcycles and spending time with her family. |
